Description of the house
Casa Breva is situated on the outskirts of the village Montecorto. The house offers beautiful views of the valley and the Sierra e Grazalema Mountains. From the living room steps lead down to the garden with pool. The pool is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden with olive and fig trees. Casa Breva is suited to two families or a large group. It can accommodate up to 10 people, when combined with the house next to it, La Chorrera. It´s also possible to book Casa La Breva only (in which case La Chorrera will not be rented out to others and you´ll have sole use of the pool). Casa Breva accommodates 6 people. The terrain owned by the family who rent the houses starts just a little bit away and has olive, almond and fig trees and includes a vegetable garden. When it’s time to harvest you’ll definitely be able to enjoy the fresh vegetables too. The house has recently been renovated and has a modern yet rustic interior. Situated in the highest and quieter part of Montecorto where the road changes into a quiet country lane. Julio is a receptionist in a large hotel in Ronda, speaks good English and knows the area well. He and his family live in Montecorto. The name of the house comes from the type of figs around the house, called Brevas. Near the house is a well where you can obtain lovely fresh water.
Surroundings Casa Breva
Casa Breva is located on the outskirts of the village Montecorto. A supermarket, small squares with bars and typical Andalusian cafes are all a few (walking) minutes away. Delivery vans bring fresh fish, bread and vegetables daily. Ronda is 15 minutes by car and Seville is 1 hour and 15 minutes. From Montecorto there are beautiful walking options around the surrounding valleys and mountains. The area is known for its birds, a.o. groups of vultures. The nature reserves Grazalema and Sierra de las Nieves are a 20 minute drive away.
Layout of the house
Lower floor: seating area with wood burner. Dining table. Well equipped kitchen. Extra toilet and shower.
First floor: bedroom with double bed and two bedrooms each with 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath, toilet and bidet. From seating area staircase leading to garden/patio area for private outside dining, beyond that garden with pool.
