Centrally located in the east of Andalusia, making all royal cities easy accessible, and a variety of good restaurants within 15 minutes by car. Everything is there to experience a fantastic holiday in the south of Spain. After a day out, it is wonderful to come home to Finca del Abuelo. This house is light, sleek, beautiful, we lack superlatives to describe this holiday home.
Surroundings of Finca del Abuelo
At 15 minutes you will find Iznájar, a typical Andalusian village with steep, narrow streets and white houses. The village is in the heart of the largest reservoir in Andalusia. The view from the castle at the top is breathtaking and unique. The Sierra Subbética Park is a half hour drive and covers 159,190 hectares, an absolute must for nature lovers. Don't forget to enjoy the area's number 1 export product, liquid gold; you will not find better olive oil anywhere in the world. There is even an olive press at the bottom of the road. The royal cities of Granada and Córdoba can be reached within 1.5 hours from Finda del Abuelo. Málaga is 50 minutes. The beach of Iznajar is also worth a visit, for example take a boat trip on the lake with Andalucia Laketours, beautiful views guaranteed!
Layout
Your holiday home is an authentic, fully restored finca. You enter the courtyard through a large old wooden door, a dining area and sitting area are ready for you to enjoy under the vines. During the day this is a lovely cool place to hide with a book when the Spanish sun shows itself in full. From the courtyard again a wooden door to enter the finca, you enter the living room with open plan kitchen and open staircase to the 1st floor. From the kitchen there is access to a double bedroom with behind it the children's room with bunk beds. These two rooms share the bathroom with shower and toilet. From this bedroom you have direct access to the courtyard. The living room is furnished with great taste and an eye for detail and the kitchen is fully equipped. Via the open staircase you reach the master 2-person bedroom with en-suite bathroom. If you rent this house with 6 adults (+2 children), the adjacent, self-contained apartment will be at your disposal as a 3rd double room. The apartment has its own entrances: through the terrace at the back of the house and through the courtyard. This apartment has a double bedroom, private bathroom with shower and a living room with patio doors to a private terrace.
Remarks
- Not suitable for babies or small children and people with walking difficulties.
- Sufficient parking space in front of the house.
- Maximum number of guests 6 adults and 2 children. Children sleep in a bunk bed that is really only suitable for children.
- When staying with 6 adults + 2 children, please book for 6/8 people.
- Deposit of € 200,- before arrival. You will receive it back within two weeks after checkout.
