Casa Jara is the ideal holiday home for lovers of gorgeous views. From the living room and side terrace you have a beautiful view of the sea, which is 8 kilometers as the crow flies. On a clear day you can even get a good view of Gibraltar and the coastline of Morocco. Furthermore, beautiful views of the hills and mountains of the nature reserve behind this holiday home. The mountain range is home to many birds of prey, a spectacle to watch the eagles hover through the sky on a sunny day.
Casa Jara (wild rock rose) is a detached house with swimming pool in the hills close to the typical Andalusian village of Casares. This bright and spacious house has been tastefully furnished by the owners. The holiday home has a cosy, spacious living room, a modern kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. All bedrooms, on the lower floor of the house, have private access to the terrace through glass doors. Around the house are several terraces with sun and shade, at the, situated in a lower level, swimming pool and at the holiday home itself. The surrounding garden is beautifully landscaped with native plants and trees. The last 200 meters to Casa Jara is a well-maintained, fairly steep, semi-paved road. Your stay here will feel like a hide away, away from the world in a wonderfully light and spacious holiday home!
Surroundings of Casa Jara
Casares is less than 10 minutes drive and has several nice bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Casares is known for its wide range of very good restaurants. Via a beautiful route you can reach Casares on foot in 1 hour. The beach is about a 30 minute drive. Ronda is 1 hour away. Ideal if you want to combine the proximity of the sea with the nature and culture of the country side.
Layout of this holiday home
Upper floor - entrance with separate toilet and laundry room with washing machine. Very spacious living room with sitting area by the fireplace and dining area with dining table for 6. Very well equipped kitchen, with new five-burner stove and dishwasher. Adjacent to the kitchen is a terrace, specially equipped for Weber's gas barbecue. Next to the dining table, glass doors lead to a roof terrace with dining area with a round table for 6 people.
Ground floor - Three bedrooms, all with glass doors to the large, covered terrace, again with dining area, lounge set and sun loungers. One bedroom with double bed and private bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and sink. Two bedrooms, 1 with 2 single beds and 1 with a double bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom in the hallway with shower, toilet and sink.
Remarks
• The swimming pool is 8x4 m. To be used from April 1 to November 1. Heated from 15 May to 15 October (possibly earlier or longer in consultation).
• Several stairs and steps to the holiday home and the terraces, less suitable for people with walking difficulties and/or small children.
• Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) at an hour's drive.
